首都大学生迎奥运首演在中大举行
 

On the night of 12 March 2008, college students from the capital Beijing started their fist theatrical performance entitled "Youth Olympics, Smiling Beijing" at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou.

With the theme of "Youth Olympics, Smiling Beijing", the aims of the performance is to Welcome the Olympics, spread smiles and enhance communication at various colleges . All of the performers are college students from Beijing, including the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, Beijing Dance Academy, the Central University for Nationalities, Central Conservatory of Music, Peking University, Tsinghua Universty and so on.

The whole performance is made up of four chapters, named "Door to Olympics", "The Road of Fighting", "Window of Hope" and "bridge of Friendship". In each chapter, there're graceful dances, beautiful songs, touching recitations, and even our traditional Wushu and Peking Opera. All the audience, mainly students in Sun Yat-sen University, enjoyed the night very much and have got a passion for the Beijing's Olympics.
