Kitchener Primary School and Nursery Unit is a County Primary School in the city of Cardiff. It serves the areas of Riverside, Canton and Leckwith. Both the buildings are traditionally designed and provide areas for class activities as well as space for combined activities. A purpose built nursery was extended and refurbished in 1992.

The teaching methods used in the school are a mixture of traditional and modern which have been proven in practice. All the classes comprise mixed ability pupils. The children requiring support with their work are given extra tuition to help them gain confidence in tackling all subjects. Similarly the more able children are fully challenged in all subjects.
