国家体育总局局长苟仲文表示，经过多个项目的人员培训，2022年北京冬奥会的时候，在冬奥会的赛场上，我们中国运动员要参加所有的项目的比赛，并力争取得好成绩。

Gou Zhongwen, head of the General Administration of Sport of China, said on Friday that necessary measures and cooperation have been put in place to build a competitive national team capable of vying with the world's best in winter sports and making breakthrough results at the home Olympics in 2022.

China will continue reforms to streamline administration, allowing them to focus on their research and create new innovations to benefit society, Wang Zhigang, minister of science and technology said on Friday.

China will expand international cooperation in researching artificial intelligence, as well as tackling new social and ethical challenges posed by the new technology, Wang said.
我们希望国际社会加强人工智能技术研究以及应对由此产生的社会、伦理新问题方面的交流合作。

Scientists have been researching artificial intelligence for more than 60 years, but people are now concerned about the technology due to its impact on social governance, ethics, and personal privacy, said Wang.
人工智能发展60多年来，大家现在有一些担心，人工智能对社会治理、伦理道德、隐私保护等方面会有什么影响。

"Now AI is not just confined to the lab, it has entered society," he said, adding the technology has intertwined with laws, ethics, and social morality. Development in AI technology also is faster than that in laws, ethics, and public governance, he added.
现在人工智能已经不再是科学家实验室中的内容，而是开始走向社会、走向应用，和法律、社会公德、伦理联系上了。人工智能技术发展走在前面，法律规范、社会公德、社会治理方式相对滞后，要加快跟上。

The central government will give unwavering support to Macao for its transition to a more diversified economy, said Zhang Xiaoming, director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.

Macao has pushed ahead with the plan to transform Macao into a world-class tourism and leisure center, and a commerce and trade cooperation services platform between China and Lusophone countries, Zhang said.

The central government has an unquestionable role to maintain national security, including that in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, director of the State Council's Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office Zhang Xiaoming stressed.
张晓明强调，维护国家安全，包括香港特别行政区的安全，是依法履行中央人民政府应有的权力和应尽的义务。

It is impossible for the central government to turn a blind eye to acts that jeopardize national security in Hong Kong, as the SAR is an inalienable part of China, Zhang said.
他表示，香港特别行政区是中华人民共和国不可分离的部分，中央不可能对待香港发生的危害国家安全的行为不闻不问。
