中共中央总书记、国家主席习近平7月6日在北京以视频连线方式出席中国共产党与世界政党领导人峰会并发表主旨讲话，强调政党要担负起促进发展的历史责任，让发展成果惠及各国人民，提升全球发展的公平性、有效性、协同性。

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, called on the world's political parties to shoulder their historical responsibility to promote development with results shared by people of all countries and improve the fairness, efficiency and coordination of global development. Xi, also Chinese president, made the remarks while delivering the keynote speech in Beijing at the CPC and World Political Parties Summit via video link on July 6.

此次峰会主题是“为人民谋幸福：政党的责任”。

来自160多个国家的500多个政党和政治组织的领导人、逾万名政党和各界代表出席会议。100多个国家的政党在本国共设置了近200个集体会场，组织本党代表集体参加此次峰会。上海、陕西延安、广东深圳、福建宁德、浙江安吉等地设置了国内分会场，地方部分党员干部同步收看峰会盛况。峰会发表共同倡议，表达与会政党维护世界和平发展、增进人民福祉的共同愿望。

此次会议是中国共产党在成立100周年之际举办的重要多边外交活动，旨在同世界各国政党加强治国理政经验交流互鉴，共同应对世界百年变局和世纪疫情带来的挑战，增强为人民谋幸福的理念和能力，促进世界和平与发展，推动构建人类命运共同体。

在人类追求幸福的道路上，一个国家、一个民族都不能少。世界上所有国家、所有民族都应该享有平等的发展机会和权利。我们要直面贫富差距、发展鸿沟等重大现实问题，关注欠发达国家和地区，关爱贫困民众。

On the road to the well-being of all mankind, no country or nation should be left behind. All countries and nations are equally entitled to development opportunities and rights to development. Political parties should face squarely up to major problems such as wealth gap and development divide, with particular attention and care given to underdeveloped countries and regions and impoverished people.

我们要担负起加强合作的责任，携手应对全球性风险和挑战。面对仍在肆虐的新冠肺炎疫情，我们要倡导团结合作，弥合“免疫鸿沟”，反对将疫情政治化、病毒标签化，共同推动构建人类卫生健康共同体。

World's political parties should strengthen international cooperation to cope with the global risks and challenges. Facing a COVID-19 pandemic that is still surging globally, countries should intensify solidarity and cooperation to narrow the vaccine gap, oppose politicizing the disease and jointly advance the building of a global community of health for all.
