US election finally ends

All the hype leading up to the presidential election in the US will finally end, as Election Day came and passed this week. In Beijing, final results were coming in early Wednesday morning, and people were very excited - excited for the drama to finally end.

Smart children make heavy drinkers

A new study suggests that smarter children tend to drink more frequently and higher quantities upon growing up than their not-so-smart counterparts. Children in the US and UK were tested and given a score ranging from "very dull" to "very bright". Then, 20 to 40 years later, they were surveyed on their drinking habits. Results showed children who were labeled smarter as children were heavier drinkers. But don't be mistaken! That doesn't mean all smart people are heavy drinkers and all heavy drinkers are smart people.

Hunting for Sasquatch in a blimp

People still use blimps? I thought they were only good for advertising. Apparently a scientist from the US state of Idaho is raising money to purchase a blimp, so he can travel around the western US looking for Bigfoot (also known as Sasquatch), a legendary ape-like creature that is said to live in the woods. Many people think Sasquatch doesn't exist, and others think the beast is just a master of remaining unseen.

This wacky world!

A baby has grown wildly popular on the Internet (with over 1 million fans) after going through some serious surgeries. People were so intrigued by the baby because of his striking good looks. He's been dubbed the "ridiculously good looking baby".

A man in China sued his wife in October for having an ugly baby. Apparently the wife had plastic surgeries to change her appearance, but she didn't tell her husband. He ended up winning the case. (The credibility of this story is in question, but it's just so funny.)

Two states in the US legalized the recreational use of marijuana. It should be very interesting to see what happens next. Ha. Haha. Hahahaha!
