Former president Bill Clinton urged graduating seniors to be in the "reform business" in his Class Day address held on May 23 on Yale's Old Campus.
"We have to become relentlessly committed to change — and change is hard," said Clinton.
It is traditional for members of the graduating Yale College class to ask a Yale alumnus/a to speak at Class Day, a special ceremony celebrating the seniors' history and accomplishments.
The Class of 2010 invited Clinton, a 1973 graduate of the Yale Law School, to give this year's address after they "checked out his Wikipedia page," joked Class Treasurer Caitlin York, who introduced the 42nd president of the United States.
