Women in Rwanda play significant roles in government, business and family life. Policies in the country, like those regarding the ownership of land, have changed to give women and men equal rights, Rwanda's ambassador to China, Ngarambe Xavier, said. "Women really express their voices clearly," he said. "Their contribution is very high, and we appreciate it very much."
