To wear your heart on your sleeve

One thing about Karl is that you don’t have to guess what he’s feeling. He always wears his heart on his sleeve. So you won’t have to guess if he really likes you or not.

If you wear your heart on your sleeve it’s easy for people to take advantage of you. Sometimes it’s better to keep your true feelings to yourself.

Don’t worry about the bills, I’ve got something up my sleeve that will solve all our financial worries.

I hope you’ve got something up your sleeve, because I’ve got no ideas. The police will be here in five minutes and we’re still locked inside the bank.
