Coolhunting is a term coined in the early 1990s referring to a new breed of marketing professionals, called coolhunters. It is their job to make observations and predictions in changes of new or existing cultural trends. The word derives from the aesthetic of "cool".

Coolhunting（猎酷）是20世纪90年代早期出现的一个说法，指一个新兴的市场营销团队，他们的工作是观察和预测当前或新的文化潮流变化。这个团队的人叫做coolhunter（猎酷者），而这个名称来源于cool（酷）这个词的时尚魅力。

Coolhunter is a person who investigates cutting-edge trends, fashions, and ideas and sells them as market research to companies so they can incorporate them into their latest products.

Coolhunter（猎酷者）指研究最新流行趋势、时尚潮流以及相关理念并将研究成果出售给公司以使他们能够将这些信息融入到最新的产品中去。
