Leona Lewis: I Don’t Care if People Think I’m Boring

Leona Lewis admits people see her as boring—but says she doesn’t care.

Despite her successful musical career since winning The X Factor 2006, her interviews often seem lacklustre, with several journalists commenting on her bland answers.

This doesn’t worry the diva, who says, “I’d rather be seen as boring than a harsh, brash person.”

“It doesn’t bother me.”

The 26-year-old, who split with boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa in June 2010, insists it’s a natural transition.

“I’ve come a long way since then and I’ve grown as a performer, as a singer, everything,” she tells Rollacoaster magazine.

“I was in that weird teenage-adult stage for a long time, making decisions that perhaps weren’t right.”

“But I’ve realised in the last couple of years that I have grown up and I know myself so much more.”

Lady Gaga Says Bullying Must Become Illegal, Following Teen’s Suicide

Lady Gaga says bullying should be made illegal, following the recent suicide of a teenager who was harassed online with gay slurs.

“The past days I’ve spent reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger,” Lady Gaga Tweeted on Wednesday, September 21. “It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someone’s life. Jamey Rodemeyer, 14 yrs old, took his life because of bullying. Bullying must become ... illegal. It is a hate crime.”

The singer also posted a link to the YouTube video Rodemeyer had posted in May for the “It Gets Better” campaign.

“I am meeting with our President,” Lady Gaga added. “I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it.

Lady Gaga has often talked about being bullied herself when she was a student at a private, all-girls Catholic school in New York City.

“They said I had a big nose,” she said on the ABC show “The View” in May. “I had buck teeth. I got thrown in the trash can on the corner.”

“I used to want to wear a mask every day,” she added. “I got really bullied. I had a nice group of friends but getting picked on in school – it sticks with you in life. I don’t think I realize how deeply it affected me until I started to become more successful.”

Prince Michael Jackson Steps Out in Berlin to Help Kids

Looking very much like his father’s son in a black suit, red shirt and red armband, Prince Michael Jackson, 14, took center stage at the Tribute to Bambi charity event in Berlin on Friday night.

The King of Pop’s son presented three handwritten manuscripts for some of his dad’s biggest hits: “Bad,” “Billie Jean,” and “Smooth Criminal,” which are now up for auction for a good cause.

“With everything I do, I try to build on what my father did. I also try to help and change things – just like he did,” a poised Prince Michael, 14, told the audience of 800.

Prince Michael is “an incredibly polite, well-raised young man,” a partygoer tells PEOPLE. “I think we can expect to hear more from him.”

After his moment in the spotlight, Prince Michael showed that he was a regular kid, despite his famous father. “I wish I could stay longer to see the sights,” he told reporters. “But I have to get back for school.”
