Hypochondria refers to an excessive preoccupation with one's health, usually focusing on some particular symptom, as cardiac or gastric problems.
疑病症指的是过度担忧个人健康问题，通常集中于某些特定的症状，比如心脏或者胃部不适。

This debilitating condition is the result of an inaccurate perception of the condition of body or mind despite the absence of an actual medical diagnosis.
这种让人衰弱的症状是由于尽管缺乏确实的医疗诊断，但对个人的身体或精神状况认识不准确。

An individual suffering from hypochondriasis is known as a hypochondriac.
