“潜逃疑犯”英文怎么说

在公安机关的长期努力下，潜逃加拿大近八年的重大经济犯罪嫌疑人高山已于近期从加拿大回国投案自首。

A fugitive suspect who had been at large for more than seven years has turned himself in amid Chinese authorities' intensifying efforts to track down suspected criminals who have avoided justice.

随着中国官方不断加大力度追踪潜逃犯罪嫌疑人，一名潜逃在外七年有余的嫌犯于近日向警方自首。

Fugitive suspect就是指“潜逃疑犯”，a fugitive is someone who is running away or hiding, usually in order to avoid being caught by the police（fugitive就是躲避警方抓捕的“逃犯”），而suspect则指涉嫌犯下某个罪行的“嫌疑人”。如果说某个犯罪嫌疑人“在逃”就可以用at large来表示，比如：the suspect is still at large（那个嫌犯仍然在逃）。

Turn oneself in就是“自首”，如果是被抓的嫌疑人将别人“供出来”则可以用give away来表示，如：He gave away the name of the chief culprit. （他供出了主犯的名字。）
