《迷失》（Missing）是广受赞誉的壁虎剧团（Gecko）继《外套》（Overcoat）之后的又一呕心力作，呈现给观众全新的视听冲击。该作品融合舞蹈、搞笑和哑剧元素，展现了英国当代戏剧最迷人与前卫的风貌，在2013年爱丁堡艺穗节期间倍受好评，在伦敦皇家歌剧院一票难求，堪称最“前沿”的戏剧作品！编剧将个人经历、人际关系和情感反应作为创作灵感，用作品探寻戏剧人物的内心深处。当剧中人莉莉重拾旧忘，一切都被真相颠覆，观众从此走进了一个世界，迥异却又迷人，充满丰富的意象、多样的语言和美妙的音符。

今年，英国大使馆/总领事馆文化教育处携手北京柒零柒恩剧团（N-Theatre），为中国观众带来2013年爱丁堡艺穗节优秀戏剧节目展演作品之一——纸电影剧团的《奥德赛》，让国内资深戏剧爱好者和铁杆戏迷影迷们一饱眼福。不仅如此，配合演出，壁虎剧团艺术总监阿米特拉哈弗（Amit Lahav）还将给观众带来大师工作坊/讲座，让观众近距离和大师对话。

关于壁虎剧团

英国壁虎剧团成立于2001年，是享誉全球的舞剧团。该剧团由艺术总监Amit Lahav领导，此前作为表演艺术家，Amit Lahav与Steven Berkoff、David Glass和Lindsay Kemp等多家世界顶尖的戏剧团体均有合作，剧团通过合作、实验和公演的方式创作各类作品。秉承为观众“激发想象、焕发知觉、触发情感”的宗旨，剧团已先后推出了五部备受赞誉的作品，在20几个国家上演，并不断建立强化全球性合作。剧团旗下国际知名表演艺术家和编剧队伍不断壮大，作品跨越国籍和阶层限制，受众面广，真正实现百花齐放、百家争鸣。

“《迷失》是一场不同寻常的史诗般的旅程。2010年1月，当我在美国威斯康星和一家舞蹈团合作时，灵感突如其来，接下来两年一直深留在脑海……一位姑娘发现她的灵魂正在消逝。我画了上千张画，而且一次又一次地重新起草故事梗概，然后终于得到今天的结果。我真的不知道‘迷失’对你意味着什么。我希望每个人都有一样的感觉。壁虎剧团的作品有很多元素：爱情，聆听，时间，信任，信仰，金钱，天份和决定等等。当这些元素在某个点集中起来时，就诞生了‘壁虎’的表演。我从来不知道它是什么，直到观众，最后的点睛元素，角色，人物关系与之产生化学作用。然后观众变成作者，然后表演才算真正的有了生命。”

爱丁堡前沿剧展2014 英国单元

由英国文化协会（在中国大陆作为英国大使馆/总领事馆文化教育处运作）和北京柒零柒恩剧团（N-Theatre）联合主办的爱丁堡前沿剧展?英国单元将于2014年9月-11月在中国举行。

爱丁堡艺穗节是世界上最盛大的艺术节庆活动之一。由英国文化协会举办的“爱丁堡艺穗节优秀戏剧节目展演（Edinburgh Showcase）”，每两年一度。英国文化协会精心挑选出一系列代表当今英国最出色的中小型戏剧作品，通过与全球各地的制作人及演出机构合作，让世界各地观众有机会同步欣赏到爱丁堡艺穗节上的精彩作品。

今年9月，英国大使馆/总领事馆文化教育处携手北京柒零柒恩剧团，为中国观众带来2013年爱丁堡艺穗节优秀戏剧节目展演上四部最具代表性的作品，包括纸电影剧团（Paper Cinema）的《奥德赛》（odyssey）、壁虎剧团的《迷失》以及有“苏格兰剧场之王”美誉的蒂姆•克劳奇（Tim Crouch）的两部作品《我，马瓦利奥》（I, Malvolio）和《等到深夜又如何》（What Happens to the Hope at the End of the Night）。这一系列风格新颖、形式多样的作品，将为中国观众带来崭新的戏剧视野和体验。在爱丁堡前沿剧展英国单元举行期间，还有英国剧团大师讲座、工作坊、戏剧研讨会等众多与公众交流的活动同步进行，巡演路线包括上海、北京、武汉、广州、南京等城市，是一个为国内资深戏剧爱好者和铁杆戏迷们度身定造的“戏剧节日”，绝对不容错失。

Gecko’s Missing

Critically acclaimed physical dance theatre company, Gecko present another visually stunning, visceral, physical performance, embracing elements of dance, clowning and mime.

Notes from the Director (Amit Lahav)

“Missing has been an extraordinary and epic journey so far. In January 2010 I was working in Wisconsin USA with a dance company when an idea emerged which has stayed in my mind for over two years. A woman discovers she has a decaying soul. I have drawn a thousand pictures and re- drafted the structure over and over and this is where we are. I honestly don’t know what Missing will mean to you – I sincerely hope it will mean something different to everyone. There are so many important elements when making a Gecko show; relationships, listening, time, trust, belief, money, talent & determination and so on, at some point when all of these combine this “thing” emerges – a Gecko show. I never really know what it is until an audience, the final element, character, relationship interacts with it. The audience becomes the author and then and only then does the show live.”

Edinburgh Fringe Showcase 2014

Co-organised by British Council China and Beijing 707 N-Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe Showcase 2014 takes place in China from September to November 2014.

The British Council's Edinburgh Showcase is a biennial showcase of contemporary UK performance, featuring some of the most outstanding productions made in the UK.

Selected from the Edinburgh Showcase 2013, four plays will tour to China in the autumn of 2014. These plays include Odyssey by the Paper Cinema; Missing by the Gecko ; and I, Malvolio. What Happens To the Hope at the End of the Night by the man dubbed as the king of Scottish Theatre, Tim Crouch, is the final play in the showcase.

These four plays will introduce the unique creativity and diverse vision of UK theatre productions to Chinese audiences. An exciting range of activities including master classes, workshops and lectures will be held alongside the festival in Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Nanjing. It promises to be a real feast for theatre fans!
