每年3月召开的全国两会(two sessions)被称为"中国政治季(China's political season)"，而在如火如荼地进行着总统大选的美国，目前也是政治季。全国"两会"是一个约定俗成的简称，正式是指"全国人民代表大会(the National People's Congress, NPC)"和"中国人民政治协商会议(the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, CPPCC)"。今年是"十三五"规划(the 13th Five-Year Plan)的开局之年，透过全国两会，未来两周，"中国议题"(topics discussed at China's two sessions)将引来全球关注(capture global attention)。
