卡梅伦最后一次首相质询现场欢乐得像德云社茶馆……

昨天，是卡梅伦首相生涯的最后一天。

经历了人生最后一次首相质询（Prime Minister’s Questions, PMQ）。

然后去白金汉宫和女王正式提交辞呈，据说女王的反应是“graciously pleased”（和蔼而愉悦）。

不过，作为当天的最大亮点，卡梅伦的最后一次质询气氛超high，欢笑不断，围观议员不停地发出Yayh[jeɪ]~~~~的声音，让人想起德云社茶馆里的“吁~~~”，就差没喝茶嗑瓜子了。

外媒形容这次质询是：

an upbeat half-hour session packed with jokes and tributes
充满玩笑和致敬的欢乐半小时

在座议员很关心卡梅伦辞职后的就业问题，给他出了不少好点子，比如最新英格兰足球教练，或者《疯狂汽车秀(Top Gear)》的主持人，正好这两个位子刚刚空出来。

卡梅伦的老对头，工党领袖科尔宾（Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn）难得地和善，还拉起家常……

貌似他在生活品味上得到了卡妈妈不少点拨……他说：

I’d like him to pass on to his mum my thanks on ties and suits and songs.
希望他能替我向他母亲表示感谢，谢谢她在领带、西装和音乐方面给的建议。

卡梅伦很高兴地说：

I will certainly send his good wishes back to my mother. He seems to have taken her advice and is looking absolutely splendid today.
我肯定会把他的好意转达给母亲的。他今天貌似就接受了我妈的建议，瞧他今天穿得多帅！

老头大概心花怒放了……

现场还有各种爆料，卡梅伦给大家念了一封信，是2015年一个叫Judith的女孩写给他的，各种出谋划策，算计工党：

Please, please keep dignity and not triumphalism in the first PMQs today with Jeremy Corbyn. Because Tom Watson who may oust Jeremy Corbyn is a very different kettle of fish, he's experienced, organised and far more dangerous in the long term. So sensible, sober, polite answers to Mr Corbyn - let him create his own party disunity.
你马上就要跟科尔宾进行第一次PMQ首相质询了。 我请求你，在他面前保持尊严，不要表现得太优越。因为Tom Watson(工党副党魁)是完全不同的家伙，他也许会把科尔宾赶下台。他老练、有头脑，从长远来说，对我们威胁更大！所以回答科尔宾的问题的时候，要理智、冷静、礼貌。让他们党自己分裂吧。

这封信让全场爆笑了……

卡梅伦和科尔宾的对口相声说得也是极好的。

卡梅伦嘲笑工党效率低，选个领导这么慢：

We’ve had resignation, nomination, competition and coronation. They haven’t even decided what the rules are yet. If they ever got into power it’d take them about a year to work out who would sit where.
我们经历了首相辞职、首相提名、首相竞选、首相加冕。而工党连该怎么选领导人的规则都还没订好喂！如果他们真的当政了，得花一整年想明白谁该坐哪儿吧。

科尔宾气定神闲，说，虽然慢，但是自己很享受啊：

Democracy is an exciting and splendid thing, and I’m enjoying every moment of it.
民主制度是一个令人兴奋的极好的事情，我享受它的每一分钟。

卡梅伦还澄清了一些不实传言，比如有报道说他不爱唐宁街10号的“内阁首席捕鼠官”Larry……

他当场出示铁的证据：他和Larry的有爱合影……

他动情地说：

“The rumour that I somehow don’t love Larry – I do and I have photographic evidence to prove it.”
|有传言说，不知怎么的我不爱Larry，才不是，我真心爱他，我还有照片为证！

Sadly I can’t take Larry with me, he belongs to the house and the staff love him very much - as do I.
可惜我不能带他一起走，他属于首相府，那里的人们都爱他，和我一样爱……

他还在twitter上发照片昭告天下，铁证如山……

最后，卡相以一番深情的演讲结束质询。他说，

“I was the future once.”
我曾经也是未来。

I will watch these exchanges from the back benches, I will miss the roar of the crowd, I will miss the barbs from the Opposition... but I will be willing all of you on.
今后，我会坐在后座普通议员的位置看大家交流。我会想念这里的欢呼声，也会想念对手对我的冷嘲热讽，但我会支持你们每一个人。

Because people come here with huge passion for the issues they care about, they come here with great love for the constituencies that they represent.
因为大家都是带着巨大的热忱和关心的问题来到这里，每个人都是带着对自己代表的选民的热爱而来。

And also willing on this place, because yes we can be pretty tough and test and challenge our leaders, perhaps more than some other countries, but that is something we should be proud of and we should keep at it and I hope you will all keep at it and I will will you on as you do.
我也会继续支持这个地方，是的，可能和别的国家相比，我们对领袖更加严苛，充满考验和挑战，但这是我们必须为之骄傲、为之坚持的事情。我希望你们继续保持，我会和你们一起加油。

The last thing I’d say is that you can achieve a lot of things in politics, you can get a lot of things done. And that in the end, the public service, the national interest, that is what it is all about.
最后我想说的是，你可以从政治生涯中获得很多，完成很多事情。但到最后，所有的这些为的都是服务大众、国家利益。

Nothing is really impossible if you put your mind to it. After all, as I once said, I was the future once.

'Knifing' foreign secretaries

2011年，英国向特种兵派出特种兵，结果外交大臣威廉·黑格搞砸了任务，牺牲了不少英国生命。工党党魁米利班德质疑起卡梅伦的班底。卡梅伦抓住米利班德当初战胜自己担任外交大臣的哥哥赢得党魁的事，迅速反击道：

There's only one person I can remember round here knifing a foreign secretary - I think I'm looking at him!
我记得这儿只有一位对外交大臣动手的“刽子手”——这个人我正看着他。

'Calm down dear'

2011年，卡梅伦在一次质询中对工党女议员伊格尔说道“冷静点亲”，被认为很不绅士。卡梅伦的发言人表示，这不过是在搞笑而已。

'Put on a proper suit!'

工党议员科尔宾批评卡梅伦母亲在反对削减开支的请愿上签名，卡梅伦机智回击：

I think I know what my mother would say. I think she'd look across the Despatch Box say 'put on a proper suit, do up your tie and sing the national anthem!
我想我知道我母亲会怎么说。她会在讲台那侧边看边说，“穿好你的衣服，打好你的领带，唱好你的国歌吧！”

'Maso-sadism'?

经常开嘴炮，哪有不失口？有次攻击米利班德时，卡梅伦被自己的段子绕晕，错把masochism（受虐狂）说成了masosadism。

The shadow chancellor said he would be tough on the deficit and tough on the causes of the deficit. He is one of the causes of the deficit. I think we've all found one of the first ever examples of political masosadism.
影子大臣说他要对赤字毫不手软，明察赤字起因，我看他就是赤字的起因。看来我们是发现了有史以来第一个政治“受”虐狂。

The 'muttering idiot'

工党议员鲍尔斯经常指责卡梅伦发言冗长，卡梅伦抓住机会反击对方是个muttering idiot 爱发牢骚的笨蛋

他嘲讽鲍尔斯的段子还有：

I may be alone in finding him the most annoying person in modern politics.
可能就我一个人发现他是现代政坛最烦人的家伙。

Mr Miliband should not need it to be Christmas to realise he was 'sitting next to a Turkey'.
米利班德先生用不着等到圣诞节就会意识到自己“坐在一只火鸡”旁边。
