Push present is a present a new father gives a new mother when she gives birth to their child. In practice the present may be given before or after the birth, or even in the delivery room.

新妈妈礼物是新爸爸在新妈妈生下孩子时送给她的礼物。在实际生活中，新妈妈礼物可能在生孩子前或生孩子后，或甚至在产房里送出。

Push present is always a piece of expensive jewellery, frequently diamonds — stud earrings, a jewel-encircled tennis bracelet or a solitaire pendant — push presents have become the posh way for new dads to compensate their partners for the agonies of childbirth.

新妈妈礼物通常是一件贵重的首饰，多为钻石耳钉、镶嵌了一圈珠宝的手链或单粒宝石的吊坠。新妈妈礼物已经成为新爸爸弥补配偶分娩痛苦的一种时髦的方式。

This bonus goes by various names. Some call it the 'baby mama gift.' Others refer to it as the 'baby bauble.' But it's most popularly known as the 'push present.'

这一礼物有多种不同的说法。有人称之为baby mama gift，有人把它叫作baby bauble，但最普遍的说法是push present。
