我们都知道英国公投决定要脱离欧盟以后，很多英国人都后悔了。他们在网上发起请愿签名，要求重新举行一次公投。

在一旁围观的我们，也是不知道该如何评论了。只能说一句，这很英国人。

最近，这句话在社交网站上也传开了。但凡看到有人做了某件事后立马后悔，旁边的人就会嘲弄地说：“你这简直就是英国人！”

Behaving British refers to the act of doing something you know you'll regret immediately after.
Behaving British指明知会后悔但依然做某件事的行为。

This term is a mock on Britons who voted for leave and took to the internet immediately after the referendum result was out, asking for a second referendum.
这个表达是在嘲弄那些在公投里投了脱欧票，但是在结果出炉以后立马在网上请愿要求重新举行公投的人。

Many Britons who voted "leave" in the refendum expressed their regrets on social networking sites. Some said they didn’t think their votes would matter too much because they thought they were just going to remain.
很多在公投中投了脱欧票的英国人都在社交网络上表示很后悔。有人说完全没想到自己投的票真的会管用，因为他们觉得留欧派会赢。

在现实生活中，我们就可以这样造句：

Stop behaving British! You've made the same mistake three times!
不要这么英国人了！这相同的错误你已经犯了三次了！

He decided to quit his job in the morning and regreted it in the afternoon. He is trully behaving British.
他早上决定辞职，下午就后悔了。简直就是英国人。
