终身成就奖：梅丽尔·斯特里普

Cecil B. DeMille Award是金球奖的一个荣誉奖项，由好莱坞外国记者协会（The Hollywood Foreign Press Association）颁给“对娱乐行业做出杰出贡献”（outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment）的人士。该奖项首次颁发是在1952年第九届金球奖颁奖典礼，获奖者是导演Cecil B. DeMille，该奖项也因此得名。近五年的获奖者分别是：摩根·福里曼（2012）、朱迪·福斯特（2013）、伍迪·艾伦（2014）、乔治·克鲁尼（2015）、丹泽尔·华盛顿（2016）。

在颁奖现场，梅姨并没有回顾自己的演艺生涯，也没有一长串的感谢，而是火力全开抨击美国当选总统特朗普。她提到了现场很多的提名演员，他们都不是在美国出生，但是在好莱坞投身艺术事业。“如果把他们都赶出去，那你们就只能看足球和综合格斗了”。
