近期热播剧中，“抹布女”祝四萍对爱情的执着和奉献则成了一种“无私奉献”型的爱情典型。所谓抹布女，即全心全意帮助爱人成功，最后被抛弃的悲剧女性。
Women who do everything to help their lovers achieve success before being dumped. The term comes from a line in a TV series where the heroine said: “I'm like a duster. After I rubbed the dirt off you, I got dumped.”
“抹布女”是指全心全意帮助爱人成功，最后被抛弃的悲剧女性。这种说法来自于某电视剧女主角的一句台词：“我就像是一块抹布，把你身上的泥土擦干净了，你就把我丢掉了。”
