A Beijing resident has recently issued three new prerequisites for marriage-proposal that have become a hit in Chinese society. The un-named Beijing resident published his marriage-proposal letter in a local newspaper, together with three reports detailing the results of his IQ, HIV and his sperm quality tests respectively, on April 9.

一名北京小伙子的“求婚新三件”近来成为社会上热议的话题。这位不愿告知姓名的北京小伙子4月9日在当地报纸上刊发了他的求婚信，以及三份报告，包括他的智商报告、HIV唾液测试报告和精子测试报告。

“求婚新三件”的英文表达是three new prerequisites for marriage-proposal，分别是reports detailing the results of IQ, HIV and sperm quality tests（智商报告、HIV唾液测试报告和精子测试报告）。

不知道中国的丈母娘们对这“新三件”认不认可，但在现今物欲横流的社会，拥有“求婚老三件”的男人是很吃香的，那就是apartment/house, car and well-paid job/ savings（房子、车子、票子）。
