你平时都怎么吃早餐的？边走边吃、带到办公室吃、还是专门去早餐店吃呢？据说，现在很多美国人都选择到办公室坐在桌前吃早餐，还有些人开着车就顺手把早餐给吃了。这两种早餐形式分别叫做deskfast和carfast。

For many people in postmodern America, breakfast isn't breakfast anymore. It's now "carfast" or "deskfast."

在后现代的美国，很多人的早餐已经不是传统意义上的早餐了，而演变成了“车餐”或“桌边早餐”。

Increasing numbers of Americans are leaving home in the morning and waiting until they reach their destination before eating breakfast at their office desk— a trend recently dubbed, "desk-breakfast" or "deskfast."

越来越多的美国人现在都选择早晨到办公室以后在自己办公桌边享用早餐，这种趋势叫做deskfast（桌边早餐）。

Some hungry folks can't wait to get to work to eat their breakfast, so they consume it en route, making it a carfast.

还有一些人出门的时候已经很饿了，于是他们选择在开车上班的路上就把早餐给解决了。这样的早餐就叫做carfast（车餐）。
