A pet feline in New Zealand has been stealing men's underwear and socks from other people's homes.
新西兰一只猫咪专爱潜伏到邻居家偷男士的内衣和袜子。

In a Facebook post, the cat's owner, Sarah Nathan, uploaded a photo of her pet named Brigit along with the many pairs of socks and underwear the animal has retrieved.
猫主人名叫萨拉·南森。她近日在自己的脸书主页上传了一张宠物猫“布里吉特”的照片。照片中，猫咪旁边还摆了一溜它“偷”回来的袜子和内衣。

In just two months, the six-year-old Tonkinese cat acquired 11 pairs of underwear and more than 50 pairs of socks.
在短短两个月的时间里，这只6岁大的东奇尼猫已经得手11件内衣、50多双袜子。

"Now it's getting silly... Every morning we wake up to more," she said. "I've put notes in every letterbox in the street. Someone must be missing this stuff."
南森说：“现在事情越发不可收拾……它拿回来的东西比以往更多了，我们每天早晨醒来都会看到。我一直在给整条街上的信箱放便条解释这件事，因为肯定会有邻居发现家里少了东西。”

It was very obvious to the homeowners that the undergarments did not belong to them.

"They didn't belong to anyone in the house and one day Brigit walked into our lounge carrying a sock like a kitten," Nathan told BBC.
南森告诉BBC：“这些东西并不是附近房屋的居民丢的。然后我发现有一天布里吉特走进客厅，嘴里叼着一只小猫模样的袜子。”

She added that Brigit's victims were probably from a nearby apartment "full of blokes."

One commenter called her pet a good cat, who has a better hobby than killing small animals.
一位用户评论称，这只宠物猫的癖好没什么不妥，至少比那种喜欢咬死小动物的猫要好。

"You should train her to bring money or jewels at home :)," Leonore Havel wrote.
利奥诺·哈韦尔写道：“你应该训练你家猫出去偷钱和珠宝（微笑脸）。”

Crystal LeBron commented on Facebook, "I can just imagine some poor man sets out his outfit for his shower and comes out and the socks and underwear have disappeared and his wife thinks he is insane."
克里斯托·勒布朗在脸书上评论：“我能想象得到，某个可怜的家伙把衣服放好，然后进去淋浴。结果出来之后发现袜子和内衣都不见了。他妻子会以为自己老公疯了。”
